This newspaper exists for Lewiston, by Lewiston. We welcome community submissions of all kinds—opinion pieces, event announcements, obituaries, photos, comics, and more. Submissions are always free, because local stories should never be behind a paywall.

Obituaries
We believe every life deserves to be remembered. Obituaries are always free to publish, no matter the length, and may include a photo if desired. Please send what you’d like us to print, and our team will lightly edit only for clarity.

Community Bulletin
The Community Bulletin is a weekly listing of public events, meetings, and happenings around Lewiston. To add your event, just submit the details (date, time, location, cost if any, and contact info). We’ll publish it online and in print so your neighbors know what’s happening.

Events
Got something happening? Send us your press release, flyer, or just the details. We’ll include it in the Community Bulletin and, when possible, feature it in the paper.

Announcements & Classifieds
Looking to share a milestone, advertise a yard sale, or offer your services? Announcements and classifieds are free to submit. We’ll share them in print and online to connect you with the community.

Opinion Pieces
We welcome respectful opinion submissions from all community members. Pieces should be clear, thoughtful, and include your name and hometown. While we lean progressive as a publication, we want to hear a wide range of voices. Submissions may be lightly edited for clarity and readability.

Comics, Cartoons & Artwork
Have a doodle, comic strip, or artwork you’d like to share? We love highlighting local creativity. Email your work to us and we’ll review for publication.

Photos
Our Sunday Photos feature highlights the beauty of Lewiston and the people who call it home. Anyone can submit photos—whether you’re a pro or just snapped something cool on your phone. Please include your name, a caption, and where the photo was taken.

Content Guidelines
We aim to publish content that uplifts, informs, and connects Lewiston. Submissions must avoid:

• Hate speech, slander, or personal attacks
  
• Unlawful or obscene material
  
• Direct political advertising (though we do accept election-related opinion pieces up to the day before voting)
  

All submissions should add value to our shared community story.

This paper exists to amplify local voices, celebrate our community, and create a more connected Lewiston. By sharing your stories, we write our city’s history together—one piece at a time.
